Mobile Patent Battle Gone Wild

Featured Replies

The HTC EVO and HTC One is an extremely popular Android device for Sprint. There have been several versions look as if they will be released from customs now that inspectors are finished. The concern was the devices might be infringing on Apple’s intellectual property.

During the past 18 months mobile manufacturers have been sue happy over patent issues. The two big offenders, Apple and Samsung have been battling it out country by country however, the hold up of new product at US customs is a new twist.

The big concern is will we see other mobile makers begin like tactics to slow down pre-order and initial sales of popular devices. If thats the case many people will not have a happy mobile holiday season.
