May 24, 201214 yr Active Members Although we are waiting verification from EXPAT, there is evidence to believe that singer Elton John is in LA's Cedar-Sinai Hospital with a serious respiratory infection. All concerts are canceled. TMZ updates: Elton checked into Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. at 6 AM Wednesday. John underwent a battery of tests, after which the doctors recommended that he NOT perform for 7 days. He was told he needed "complete rest and antibiotic treatment to prevent damage." The singer had to cancel 4 concerts scheduled this weekend in Las Vegas. John is believed to have been released from the hospital.
May 24, 201214 yr I saw this on The Today Show this morning. This is the second time he's had to cancel his Vegas shows due to a respiratory condition. I hope he hasn't developed some chronic bronchial condition. That would severely hurt his ability to sing.
