August 13, 201214 yr Matthew Mitcham may not have won a medal in London, but he's decided that he can't retire, he loves the Olympics too much. With injuries, he'll probably transition to the 3M Springboard for Rio. “But I have been in discussion with Chava my coach about the possibility of becoming solely a springboard diver … I’m not really going to take a holiday when I get home — I’m actually going to start working on the strength required to be a springboard diver straight away.“It’s going to take a long time to get my thighs as big as [China's] He Chong’s.” He also talks about being a synchro partner for James Conner.
November 16, 201213 yr Active Members He liked his crystal meth too. After failing to win a ranking of #1 following the 2008 Olympics, he became depressed and entered the spiral of crystal meth. November 16, 201213 yr Good thing is he has recovered. Good for him. A friend of mine got into escorting when he was addicted to meth. I tried to help him as much as I can at that time to cheer him up so he can quit meth and escorting too... He eventually did and seems to be well now. So some people can overcome the addiction. I'm glad that Mitch did...
