January 5, 200818 yr I have a friend in Thailand who wants to meet up with me in Rio. Thais can go to Brazil with no problem. I was looking for a cheap flight and was not too successful. Most seemed to hoover around the 2300 USD mark with Air France the cheapest for the dates I plugged in. Anyone have suggestions on how to get this to a more reasonable price, say around 1300? Thanks.
January 5, 200818 yr Have a look at Emirates from Bangkok to Sao Paulo via Dubai (I dont think they fly to Rio) - depending on dates it looks like it comes in at around 45000 Baht which isnt that bad for such a long journey.......
January 7, 200818 yr GT... This may be one of those times where it might be best to use some of your frequent flyer miles.. Should be able to get roundtrip BKK to RIO ticket for 60,000 miles for coach economy ticket on KLM/NW for example...if you have miles earned in Skyteam Alliance airline partners. Other airline alliances should have same roundtrip ticket for 60,000 miles. Hope this helps, TJ
