January 5, 200818 yr I read that the government and Royal Household declared an official 15 day mourning period following the death of the King's elder sister (see also wowpow's previous post following her death). Has there been any noticeable change in bars and clubs opening hours or activities? Have people started to swap their yellow or pink polo shirts for black ones? Just curious to know what it is like on the ground as it were! Thanks in advance

January 10, 200818 yr thanks for that (almost 100 people read my question, and i guess a large proportion of those are living in Thailand, yet it took 5 days for someone to reply - ao i appreciate your response!) - it is what i had expected - economically it would be impossible for business owners to survive if they shut up shop for 15 days i had reckoned what about black shirts? are people wearing them or are they still with the yellow or pink?!
