Yes some friends and I, was just saying in Boyz Town tonight, What with the Star writer being to hot for this place, with others now refusing to write now.

 

One of the biggest now writing again on Sawatdee again and having thousands read his ramblings, and no one to replace him. I would have thought the moderator would be happy, as he got his own way in the end, but what's he doing about it nothing?

in thailand

 

sawatdee has seen not welcomed back, earwig under his old LMTU and new TiTs and there was a boring surge in postings about a new bar next to Thais 4 life bookshop.

 

For readers in the western world, this weekend is the end of Xmas holidays. For those not in LOS,or those still at work there is little new to add.

 

Gaybutton is the moderator and not under any obligation to post every day. You cannot expect Traveller Jim or Wowpow to post to every board daily especially when they get knocked for doing so.

 

So Rose why dont you earn the same salary GB is, and post something you feel others might think interesting

It seems as Hedda has taken over the main forum, as well as his own forum, with Political rhetoric on Baht-Stop, I hear the real owner who lives in the states, does not like to upset Hedda for fear of loosing his star writer.But is it so boring on any forum unless you have some one to make fun of them self or others now and then.

 

You talking about Star writers, I have read on many occasions where you and Ear wax/LMTYU/ have come to logger heads many times, as if you also have your vendetta with him. Now it would seem if you believe what they say on Sawantdee TIT Bits is a name he is trying out. may be to see if he is as popular, by his writings alone, not just his Star name. even though he does not use his main handle and if you look, his main fan base has followed him there. because up to now nearly 5500 hits and 49 replies with his first post, amazing in a few days. Half hate him, half love him, may be this is how he likes it, but even so, they all love to read what he says.

Even a small post about a New Guest House he wrote about, had a very healthy rush of 1500 views, so if you had anything at all about some thing you wrote, not that I see your posts enlightening the Gay viewers, I’m sure you would be more then pleased.

Your right I think GB should have a well earned rest, may be he is on holiday or just gathering his strength for a big rush or posts soon.

As with Sawatdee there are many posters and if more would write, then just criticize or look for Information about what’s happening in Gay Thailand, life would be a lot more cheerful all round. Including you paulg.

How do I win with some of the posters here? If I post too often, I get criticized for posting too much. If I don't post enough, I get criticized for that.

 

The fact is that I have been out of the country for the past couple of weeks and only checked the web sites a few times while I was gone. I just returned a few hours ago. For those who are bored by this forum, there are several others for you to read.

 

Good or bad, the "almighty moderator" has returned.

 

For the sane, the board trolls might get one or two more posts before they get dumped. For example, one poster seems to be convinced that I am receiving a salary for moderating. I have already said that is not true, but you go right on persisting anyhow. Of course, since you seem to be convinced of it and want to keep saying it, ok . . . prove it.

Well like it or not, the original poster is perfectly correct with some of his assertions.. namely that although maybe not quite dead, this forum is certainly very quiet, and that Sawatdee and Baht-stop are very busy, and from that it might even be reasonable to suggest that the forum is 'getting boring'.

 

But I certainly would not blame the moderator for this, as Luvthai states 'the forum is only as good as the people posting on it' .. just why Buaseng feels it necessary to make his reply an insulting one is beyond me, being as it ,that the post is fairly accurate [apart from the reference to the Mod being at fault].

 

At least the original poster did post and start a thread on a quiet forum..... more than Buaseng [and indeed i] have done.

 

With regard to 'star posters' such as earwig/lmtu or whatever he is/was called here, I wasn't aware as bizzybody seems to make out that he was banned from here by the Moderator [i assume that is what he means by 'the moderator getting his own way in the end']

 

IF he is not 'banned' then it is purley his decission not to post here... IF he is 'banned' then I cannot think why it would be necessary to ban him unless he has written something that can actually cause legal repercussions to the forum... if it is just because he has posted something that members or moderators do not like... instead of banning him........just don't bother to read his posts.... not rocket science really... just don't read!

 

Just in the same way as the Moderator's win/no win situation if he posts too much.....if you don't like what the Moderator posts, don't read it... I really don't understand why it is even an issue that needs to be defended.

When someone consistently, flagrantly, and intentionally violates the posting rules, no matter how many times he has been asked to stop, has been given warnings, has been placed on moderated mode, etc, it finally gets to a point at which we realize our wishes are going to continue to be ignored and the only way to put a stop to it is to enforce the posting rules, ban the violator, and anything else he posts when he comes in under another guise.

 

We give the violators every reasonable chance before resorting to a ban and it is not done lightly. Unfortunately, sometimes with some people there is simply no other alternative. If such people want to find someone to blame, they need only to look in a mirror.

I don't understand it! You've provided 4-5 posts/responses in the last 24 hours and there are no protests [flag burnings, gnashing of teeth (or tooth in the case of one former poster), or planted IED's] that you're posting too much?!?

And, with respect to your pay here, is it just a fixed salary or so much per post or word?

To liven up this thread and not to be so boring, I have added a few pics I took at the Las Vegas Hustlaball this weekend. It was a party of pimps, johns, hookers and pornstars. I know none of these things are in Thailand but I Hope you enjoy anway. Sorry, for those of you that only like Asian boys, the only hot ones there were with me and not on stage. LOL PS one of the boys was on a recent trip with me and friends to Brazil. The guys in Brazil ate him up. It was a great opportunity to meet and greet pornstars from the industry.
