I will be in Bkk end of Aug up to early Sep. Do you guys know when the next Babylon Foam Party will be held? I tried to browse their website only to find their June July schedule.

 

Following the date pattern of once-every-2-weeks foam party, the next planned foam party will be in Fri Sep 2. Could anyone of you confirm this? Thanks for the help.

I called Babylon for you. They said the next foam party will be on Halloween Night, October 31.

okay, you guys with the vivid imaginations....sorry to disappoint you studs, but the Thai boys wear

bathing suits in the foam and only the over-the-hill farangs shed their clothes.. Scary thought, but

be prepared and don't even think of a swim without your trunks in the pool.. It is a no no !!

 

sometimes our imaginations are better than the reality but babylon still a paradise for those over

40 y.o. or 40 inch waist lines for that matter.. all sizes and ages welcome and some of the hottest boys go for some of the unlikeliest farangs.. Some hot younger farangs will even go will less than hot older farangs if they don't like Asians and if younger fit farangs aren't available..

Hi. I will be going there in June and fortunately, there will be a foam party going on. Well. I am curious as hell. What is actually happening during that event? Do we have to just wear underwear to enter the Babylon? Or something. Never been there. Need some advise since I will be going there alone. Can I wear a shirt to enter the party? Thanks much guys.

Can't say I'm interested in the foam party - its hardly a regular event !. However I'm planning to spend a couple of days or more in BKK during my next trip before heading to Pattaya. From what I have heard and read it sounds like Babylon is a larger version of Samsuk Sauna in Pats. Would this be accurate ? If so it will definitely be on my agenda for a visit.

Like at Samsuk it seems surprising that nudity does not break out, bearing in mind than a large proportion of customers are farangs, who wander about with the large white bath towels round their waists. Totally impractical as they have a tendancy to slip off and get in the way in the cruising areas. I never know what to do with mine when I hook up in the dark maze. I suppose it's the tradition in gay bathhouses.

given that Babylon - in one location or another - has been around for significantly longer than Samsuk, and in both locations was/is significantly larger and more popular than Sansuk it is perhaps more accurate to say Samsuk is a smaller version of Babylon

 

and if you want to get away from falung in large white towels most of the "local" saunas in Bangkok have naked nights, underwear nights and other theme nights that mostly lack both falung that need large towels and the towels as well!

I note what you say about small towel-less saunas, but after visiting Thailand quite a few times I think a visit to Babylon is well overdue. I've just been checking their accommodation and see that large barrack rooms are available at a rate of 1700 baht which is cheap for Bkk, but I note these rooms do not have private facilities, Though you get two bathhouse entrance passes within the room rate. I will no doubt make a reservation for three nights as soon as I have firmed up my dates.
