Searching with Membership type

Featured Replies

I was going to call this a glitch, but on reflection, I realized it may have been a design choice.

If I select more than one 'membership type' when searching either guys or reviews, the search syntax apparently 'ANDs' the terms, so I get nothing, in most cases (limiting to a location).

I expected it to OR them - based on a fair amount of experience working with search engines. So, I could check 'escort and 'masseur' to find either.

I thnk the list of membership types is confusing because there are no definitions - as previous discussions here have indicated, we don't all agree or understand the distinctions (particularly the distinction between 'boytoy' and 'escort'.) i think the break-down is useful only if you supply definitions 1. for people filling out the profiles and 2. in 'mouseover' texts on the search forms.

I'd really be intersted in what percent of searches use the 'membership' type - and especially how many use multiple terms.

Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback.
