Aw, how cute. The two little girls lost their mother, but Jesus or a similar entity intervened to save their lives. Wonder what he had against the mother?

Hmmmmmmm.

""The crime blotter in the Jan. 26 edition of The Longview Daily News indicates Rath was sentenced to 10 days in jail for heroin possession and third-degree theft.""

Well two kids got saved... And there happened something inexplicable... Yes the mother unfortunately died but her kids got rescued... I hope her children grow up well and continue their mother's life...

So after rapper Kenny Clutch was killed yesterday morning in a drive-by shooting on the Las Vegas Strip, his Maserati ran into a cab and killed the driver and passenger, certainly innocent folks who thought they were safe on the empty Vegas streets at 4:20 am. Perhaps the passenger had called the cab rather than drive drunk.

So, the thanks to God are that the rapper's passenger did not die in the shooting, that the cab wasn't full, and that the killers drove away before any other rappers appeared on the scene. This is a positive spin, no?

Perhaps one should avoid streets, empty or not, at 0420?

Best regards,

I feel sorry for the families who lost their loved once. I can't offer any explanation why unfortunate things happen. But there were people to help and a system was in place to respond to the shooting. Being prepared for the future and preventing serious damage are activities that show that we care and protect people from unfortunate events. I see great value in that...

If it were only true. Did you know that many New Yorkers are still homeless after Hurricane Sandy?

They weren't prepared for that and they didn't prevent serious damage...Just one example.

It is true.. People come up with innovative ways to minimize loss of life and damage, and aid people in need... We need more new technology and efficiency to help people in suffering from natural disasters.. I bet it got much better than what was available in the past at a similar situation...

To me the Bible authors lived at a time when injustice, slavery, bigotry, discrimination, hatred, oppression and etc were so prevalent that they have to resort on something better in after life. I think that's why they were so apocryptical... Who can blame them when someone can kill a person and then line up false witnesses to avoid punishment? We are slightly better than that and it will get better. I see something unseen in the works here to make the world a better place. A strong wi to overcome sufferings and challenges in life as I have seen in those girls will make the world better.. Don't you think?
