Bruno's PGF Dinner

Featured Replies

The total amount raised after the dinner and is now 530,000 baht. Great News! The boyfriend and I left right after the Lucky Draw. There were about 90 in attendance and the Lucky Draw brought in about 130,000 baht if I remember correctly with many businesses donating items. Phil from Sticky Rice was there to take photos and I'm sure he will have them on his site or in the magazine in the near future. Speaking to him last night, he was telling me about some new things he will be doing with the magazine and website. It sounds like he has wonderful plans for new information and revamping of the magazine. It has already changed drastically since I was here last and it just continues to improve. I hope he is able to keep up the excellent work he does for the gay expat community in Thailand.

Jim from Boyztown was there to MC the night and was funny and delightful as usual. He had some sexy guys from BoyzBoyzBoyz helping with the Lucky Draw.

The event started around 8PM and lasted about 3 hours. The food was delicious and very well presented. I took the boyfriend and 2 of his friends. They all enjoyed trying the "falang" food and giggled a bit as each course was presented.

While I am thrilled at the 530,000 baht raised for the event, the 530,000 calories I ate last night did not bode well for me. All in all though, a very delightful evening.
