Old Spice Watermelon

Featured Replies

On my a guy smelling like a watermelon... I'm not sure I will like that... And who uses a soap bar these days???

I meant a guy should smell like a guy... ^_^

You even fear a WATERMELON will smell bad?

You need to consult a surgeon about a schnozzectomy.

I agree EXPAT sort of a strange way to promote soap ... ^_^

Schnozzectomy? That seems a little extreme. Perhaps just a punch in the nose to alter one's sense of smell? Most of us would miss having a nose, regardless of any of many possible deficiencies thereof.

I still use a Dial bar. A move up from hog fat and lye. ^_^

And I've been using "Irish Spring" for years.

I think our hitoall would be happier without a nose. In fact without any sense input organs whatever. He is, in spirit, I am convinced, the reincarnation of St. Simeon Stylites.

Separately, one suspects lye soap scrubbed the dermis a lot cleaner than today's greasy emollient bars.

Oh my AS I do have sex from time to time..^_^ Just my last sex has been a year ago.. Escorts love me because I don't last more than 10 minutes.. ^_^

Yes, fat based soaps no doubt provided a superior cleaning, necessary when one only bathed once a week or so. ^_^

I have always wanted to meet and personally know an ascetic. But, fortunately, the opportunity has never presented itself. ^_^

??? Are your copilots ok with you bathing once a week??? I had a coworker who didn't shower before he came to work everyday.. He said he showers after work.. Hmm not a good experience..

You might then be interested in one of the characters referenced in AdamSmith's informative link:

The Mark Twain novel A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court features a man who lives on a pillar in the valley of the hermits and repeatedly bends over at the waist . . .

Twain's hero hitched the holy man to a sewing machine and used him to make linen shirts, though your proclivities may lead elsewhere.

I don't use co-pilots. However, personally I bathe at least once a day. That satisfies me, if not those around me. ^_^ You seem to confuse activities that were common many, many years ago with today's preferences.

Oh my I had my Nancy Pelosi moment again... Lol...^_^ I love her necklaces and scarves though...^_^

I think I was in my jeans and sneakers when I met you...^_^ Not as stylish as Nancy Pelosi..^_^ I don't know when those politicians have time to shop such fancy clothes... ^_^

I must say, from firsthand observation, you do remind somewhat of Mme Pelosi.

I hope that is a compliment.

With our tax money???

They hire personal shoppers.

As should we all. .)

As my personal shopper is also an ascetic, he charges nothing at all.

To help make ends meet, he moonlights as a personal organizer for his clients and, so I'm told, has never owed a nickel in taxes.

This appears to be a FEDEX closet during the early morning when he or she has departed for a flight. Everyone knows that FEDEX pilots are hung upside down in a closet when they are not flying, don't they?

In fact you were (one time) in those really striking electric-blue -- neoprene? -- shoes. You are admirably more fashion-forward than La Pelosi.

That is not fashion forward.. It's just what you put on what you have..^_^
