Today, watching the film, it seems dated and a bit "old-fashioned" but still enjoyable, at least by me. I felt sorry for the animal that was vaporized when the gal reached the "age of reason". September 6, 201313 yr This is one of my favorite films from childhood. Some years ago, I put it on Christmas gift list - and for some reason, my sister thought it was an 'adult' film.
September 7, 201313 yr Author and for some reason, my sister thought it was an 'adult' film. Well, it is based (loosely) on The Tempest, arguably the weirdest of Shakespeare's imaginings. I worship it, but approach it ever with trepidation. The play, that is. The movie I think may be my second most favorite piece of celluloid after '2001.'
