To help a contestant struggling with his sexuality, The Biggest Loser Trainer Bob Harper, made the courageous decision to come out publicly as a gay man during Tuesdays episode of the show.

Bobby had admitted on the show that he was gay, but had not yet been able to come out to his father.

I havent talked about my sexuality on this show ever, Bob said to the cameras. And now, meeting Bobby, I really do believe this is the right time. I want to show Bobby that he doesnt have to live in shame.

When I came out, when I was 17 years old, it was one of those things where I realized that there was going to be so many obstacles, but being gay doesnt mean being weak, he told Bobby. And being gay doesnt mean that you are less than anybody else. Its just who you are.
