What is the status of the PM feature.. Fixed ??

Well, we can't seem to find the problem. I have been able to send and receive messages all along. We put in a note to the programmers and they tested every browser available and tried to fix any issues. To date, I don't know if others are still having the issue or not. If so, we need very detailed information on what happens.

Send a PM to me. I'll receive an Email telling me a PM is waiting. I'm one of the people who was having a problem, so if you send a PM to me, I'll be able to tell you if it has cleared up, at least for me.

Also I cannot send PMs. As soon as I click on "Send message" from the pull-down menu on a person's handle, a pop-up appears saying "Invalid Username or Password !". But it clearly shows I am already logged in at the bottom of the page.

There are 2 logins. One for the main site and one for the forum. The forum keeps you logged in for a longer time. The main site does not. When you get this message, simply log in on the main site and send the message. That should do the trick.

Thanks GT. Is the forum login name and password the same as those for the main page? I always try and login in when I receive the pop-up but it does not accept and I cannot recalling having set up any different combination...or maybe I still need to register for the main page. I will look and see if that's possible.

Unfortunately, for me the problem just happened again. Nikom, if you are reading this I know you sent me a PM. I can't retrieve it. When I try, the problem happens again. You will have to send your message to me by Email.

 

I thought the problem was solved because I did receive a PM from GT and was able to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Nikom sent me a PM and I cannot retrieve that one. So, whatever the problem was, it still exists.
