Always heard about it as well but never met a guy who actually got it done on his own dick. I guess sticking with one guy is a good thing and would prevent anyone to start getting done on penis that looks like weird dildo's . But that's either a ego thing or there are much more size queens out there than before , where the need of big penis Who knows...
