Losing a finger in the process, Jesus had a harsh message today for Brazilians who engage in violence:

How are you supposed to get "stop the violence" out of him getting his finger burnt off by a lightning bolt?

Hell, the oracle at Delphi was clearer.

More likely Jesus was trying to send a threatening message to TomCal. Either get back down here pronto and spend some of his money attempting to save some of his Carioca disciples, or he might send a lightening bolt to the end of TomCal's dick and burn it off!

They started on the repairs to The Redeemer yesterday. The contract has a finished contract date of one month. I think it is Pirelli(some Italian company involved with rubbers) that is paying for the 2.1 million Real job and they have hired a team with special skills in mountain climbing and rapeling. No news as to how many of the mountaineers TomCal has already had in his various surubas. So in a way, depending on the brand that Tom prefers, he actually could be financing part of the repairs. Or a large part. Good on him. Three Cheers!
