April 1, 201412 yr It's a collectible because it was a stunning design, and still is. A friend of mine bought one the year it came out, because he knew he could successfully pick up young men in it. It was also fairly narrow with a stick shift on the floor, which made it easy to "accidently" keep rubbing the young male passenger's thigh with one's shifting hand.
