April 20, 201412 yr So, it turns out that the singing priest was at a wedding where he heard a teenage bridesmaid sing the piece. Apparently, it was she who adapted the song for a wedding--rewrote the words, etc. Father Kelly, the singing priest in the original video, has been generous in his praise for this young girl.
