I've met some guys (like those featured) in London, LA and New York. They can be fun company for a short time but they tend to have nothing much to say. Their lives seem to consist of clubbing, gym-going, taking steroids and other drugs, and trying to make ends meet. I guess the smarter "boys" try to find an older man to take care of them before they hit 35 and find they face stiff competition from younger fit-bodied men.
