There was another death caused by improper lighting at a crosswalk in West Hollywood on Friday night. An acquaintance that I met out a few times at the bars like Micky's in Weho was killed around 11PM Friday night in a crosswalk when a car didn't stop and struck him and killed him on the spot. He was a nice man in his 60's who was always seen at the Weho bars tipping the go go boys. He was very well liked by the go go boys and he lost his life unnecessarily on Friday night.

There will be a sit in tonight at 6PM on Santa Monica Boulevard and Hancock where it took place to protest the lack of effort on the city's part to protect pedestrians in these crosswalks. I've thought for years that there wasn't enough lighting and no warning lights in these crosswalks. I've noticed that it's hard to see pedestrians trying to cross especially at dusk and after dark.

This is the second death this year at a cross walk on SMB and there have been a few other near death accidents.

This Wednesday 7:30pm at Revolver Video Bar in Weho they will honor CLINT who died in that intersection If you know Clint you know he liked two things: Young Guys & Twink Porn Stars. Every week he was at that show whether he had $20 in his pocket or 20cents in his pocket. He stood up in the front row cheering the porn stars on. He was super happy just to be among the different boys present. Every week for 8 years he supported Scott and while their banter was always merely love in disguise this week they will honor him!
