Does anyone knows where I can find the fastest connection ? I need it bad.. going through withdrawl right now.. staying at Tui's place in Jomtien and I find myself to be back in time like 10 years ago where 56 K modem was so fast... I guess their connection is even worst...

 

I need the fastest Upload and Download rate... if possible..... to any price...

 

Assuming your laptop is wifi capable, take it to the Ambiance coffee shop/terrace order a nice drink and enjoy a high speed connection.

 

The fastest used to be in Central Mall on the 2nd Floor, there is a shop run by a Falang who really knows technology. I have not been there this trip but in the past, his place was always amazing.

Spent a week there at the Ambiance and yes the Internet was ok. Not the fastest but it was good.

But way too much things to look at... I wouldn't be able to work on the computer

I dunno about the typical connection at Tui's but the past 5 or 6 days have been rotten for everyone. The overseas links were running at 5 to 20 per cent of normal. And, coincidently, TOT in Pattaya lost its main router twice, with spotty service throughout the week.

 

As of this moment on Tuesday morning all is well with TOT but still only getting 800 kbps to San Francisco. Should be 1200 or more.

 

If you want the best that's available, go sit for a while at the TAT office on S. Pattaya Road. They offer 10mb service at their Internet cafe.

Thanks for the info.. I do appreciate it.. I'll give it a try cause, I am at the Central Mall and their " Fiber Optic " as they call it here, gives me 970 kpbs, which is great... Not bad at all... And I am actually what needed to be done.
