On Tuesday a 21 year old British national walked into Pattaya Police station in Soi 9 and told officers he was being shaken down for money by one of their own officers. The man, Marc Ture, told them he had been engaged in conversation by a Thai man in Pattayaland Soi 3, better known as Boyztown, on Monday. The Rose It is very nice indeed and just as nice to know that the police department is not going to tolerate such a scam by on of their own. I admire the victim of this scam for having the good sense and fortitude to go to the police station to report this. I doubt he was their first victim. I wonder how many victims they successfully intimidated and scammed before being caught.
