Has anyone used Mr. T's taxi service?

Featured Replies

I usually use Mr. Toom taxi service from the Airport to Pattaya. I googled Mr. Toom taxi because I have misplaced his email address. I came across a thread on Pattaya Talk Forum about a Mr. T taxi service. Has anyone used this company?

I always use Mr. TOOM's taxi and have found him to be completely reliable.

The public taxis from the airport are 1400 baht, toll fees included. I am not sure what the services are charging now.

If you want to do it a less expensive way, if you arrive during daytime hours there is a very nice airport bus that goes directly to Pattaya. It makes 2 stops, one on Sukhumvit at the bus terminal just south of Central Road (Pattaya Klang) and the other on Soi Chaiyapruk, about 1 block from the beach.

There is also Bell Travel Bus during daytime hours, which goes to North Pattaya bus station. They will pick you up at hotel or condo to go to the airport and deliver you there when coming from the airport. The cost is 150 door to airport or airport to door.

I have always used Mr. Toom's taxi service in the past without problems. When I was searching for his email address I came across this thread on Pattaya Talk Forum http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39441

According to these forum members, they like Mr. T's service better and it is only 1,000 baht instead of 1,200 that Mr. Toom charges. I was wondering if anyone here has used Mr. T's service?

I would like a less expensive way, but will arrive around midnight. Any alternative means of transportation to Pattaya at this hour? I should think it would be either a taxi or car service at this time of night.

I have decided to try a new car service. I am happy with Mr. Toom's service but since Mr. T's service is only 1,000 from the airport to Pattaya, I can give the saved 200 baht to a needy young man. I emailed him with some questions and to confirm the price of his service. He returned my email within 24 hours. I then made a reservation for pick-up and again had confirmation within 24 hours. He also gave me his cell number, in case I had trouble finding his man and the sign with my name on it. He seemed very professional in his emails. I will report back in a couple of weeks.

Yes, i have used his service quite a few times. Only once did I have problems, which was when a bad jam on the motorway delayed the driver picking me up at the airport. However, Mr T kept me informed all the time.

Usually nice new cars and good drivers

Thanks, for your input. From what I have read on other message boards, Mr. T's service appears to be OK. I am anxious to judge for myself.
