My friend and I booked rooms in the Hostal Dona Sol, owned by an American, John, and I presume his Colombian partner. Looks like a beautiful home with four rooms for rent. There's one suite and then three double rooms with private bath. The doubles are $30 a night, $45 for a couple or if one has an overnight visitor. They offer airport pickup for $45 and as best I can tell they are located conveniently and can provide tourist and gay spots advice. Has anyone been to any of the saunas or clubs in Cali? I do find that many of the cutest guys on Chaturbate are from Cali. I know it will be hot and humid but probably no more so that any other tropical locations in rainy season.
April 17, 201610 yr Active Members I found the Cali saunas to be much like the Bogota saunas except that the model types standing around admiring each other were more often Black. You are right about Chaturbate. When I was in Cali( Medellin too) Chaturbate was like a room service menu. I installed a VPN program like HideMYASS to mask the fact that I was connecting from Colombia. Most of the Chaturbate guys block Colombia to keep their mothers from learning how they earn their money. But, once you engage them online and tell them you are in town, beautiful things can happen.
April 21, 201610 yr Active Members Definitely report back on any Cali Chaterbate models you meet ! Cali does seem to have the hottest ones on CB. If it's any help I found last year that in Bogota and especially Medellin Grindr was flooded with "Prepaygos" , a slang Grindr hadn't figured out.

Also, ask the proprietor of the lodging if he's aware of any guides who are English speaking, preferably male and gay! I'd love to construct my itinerary as well as use the additional places and interests of the guides. The guides don't have to escort, but if willing, connect me with some hotties who do or do not speak the language (English). If I manage to go to Colombia, I plan to take an electronic translator, but for being a guide-- I'd truly hope and desire a native who speaks English. Have a great, great trip.
