October 8, 20169 yr Author Active Members Jeffrey is a friend of mine. I am more than a little saddened that this case was not dismissed . This does not bode well for hopes that prostitution being legalized in the US anytime close to the near future.

Okay, I looked at the article and it says he waives his right to appeal any fine of ten million or less. So, it could be less. What's the point of imposing a fine that a guy can't pay?

I agreed with others to accept payments from multiple advertisers and promoted their exchange of sexual conduct in return for a fee in violation of New York State law."
October 9, 20169 yr Active Members I wish Jeffrey the best. I selfishly hoped he would be able to fight this to the end and win. But, I realize that when the cards are stacked against you have to make unpleasant decisions. I think it is especially unjust to seize someone's funds when charged if it infringes on them being able to mount a strenuous defense.

May 7, 20188 yr Author Active Members Jeffrey Hurrant was released from prison last month He is still on Parole (and will be for some time) and now he will try and get his life back together. Even with the generous donations of his friends he is pretty much broke now- but he is optimistic about his future
