December 11, 20169 yr Active Members John Glenn is/was a personal favorite of mine. However, remember two things about pilots (and especially test pilots); one, even though they are "full" of the "right stuff", very likely they could not make a living doing anything else; two, the US astronauts, to include John Glenn, had to fight very hard to not be "humans in a monkey capsule" on top of a rocket.
