KIng Charles III on PBS

On Masterpiece Theater tonight, I think the one time only. It played London's West End, and subsequently on Broadway. For someone living in neither city these TV Productions can be a good deal. I recall Tim Pigott-Smith from Jewel in the Crown 33 years back.

I learned that the TV presentation was only 90 minutes long, versus the almost 3 hour play. The first act took an hour and 20 minutes. I was pretty bored by then and did not stay for more.

The Pasadena Playhouse is a wonderful historic venue.

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy it. I cannot recall the length on Broadway with Pigott-Smith, who died recently by the way. I read the play before committing to the long trek to NYC. Was the CA cast all British?

Americans, bit-part/xtra-grade. Everyone deserves a shot. Hit and miss, the bullseye is elusive.
