I am going on a bike trip next month and needed a bike and some shorts for the trip. I was able to buy the bike at Cannondale in Bangkok off of Sumkavit Soi 26. The owners there are amazing, customer service orientated and truly easy to deal with. I found my bike and they helped me to stock it with everything I needed except some clothing for the trip.

 

I then went to ProBike off of Lumpini area and they had some of the things I needed. I ended up buying some things there yesterday but they did not have enough bike shorts for me. Does anyone know of other nice bike shops in Bangkok with a large selection of bicycle shorts and shirts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have been to ProBike and Cannondale when it was on Sukumvit soi 3 before moving to soi 26 and I don't know of any place in Bangkok with a wider selection. You might want to mosey on out to FBT's main (Football Thailand) store on Ramkhamhaeng Road soi 65 (or Klong Sam Sean stop Ta Mahadthai from Pratunam jetty). That is a huge sport clothing company that clothes most Thai national teams and has a separate floor for each major sport. BUT, I am not so sure about their biking clothing selection. I was over there last night with some football boy friends buying studded boots priced from Bht150 up to Bht3,500 (yes, they all went for the Bht150...Bht249 ones)..I really couldn't see much difference! But as they specialize in all major sports and often have big discounts on farang sizes, they may have the type of shorts you are looking for. I know biking clothes are special..particularly the shirts which you already have, but until I go back there again next week, I won't know for sure. I guess you want something in stretchy black that's tight around your massive thighs and stops just above the knee with a padded bum hole area for the saddle contact.
