President Trump has blasted the ongoing Russia investigation for its negative impact on “young and beautiful lives.” He tweeted Sunday, “Who’s going to give back the young and beautiful lives (and others) that have been devastated and destroyed by the phony Russia Collusion Witch Hunt? They journeyed down to Washington, D.C., with stars in their eyes and wanting to help our nation…They went back home in tatters!” Though Trump did not mention specific names, there have been reports about the toll the investigation into Russia’s interference in US elections has had on people who have been questioned by special counsel Robert Mueller’s team. One of course wonders, who's young and beautiful lives is he talking about ? (like he really cares about anyone other than himself anyway)
