August 28, 200620 yr Boxer has provided a nice visitor's guide to the new airport. New Airport Guide I always arrange for the hotel car to pick me up, so things should run as smoothly as in the old airport.

Joe not too sure on that point its not clear where they can park the stopping area is very limited with no waiting. Yes the driver will be there to meet as usual but i think his car will be at the Car Park in future see Transportation Centre picture which is a short bus ride away with luggage. I hope to get into Airport later this week if i can to see whats what.

August 28, 200620 yr The new bus route 389 from the airport to Pattaya looks interesting. I wonder if it's an express bus, and how long a trip it will be. I usually spend the first night in Bangkok (as I will this Friday when I arrive ). But, if the bus is convenient, given the location of the new airport, maybe I'll change my habits!!
