December 28, 200817 yr A friend of mine just booked a 10K baht room at the Amari for just 3200. An that's for this week, the peak of peak season. My take is that the mainstream tourist hotels are hurting badly and need to cut prices to remain competetive. But the hotels where gay travelers as well as the straight sex tourists generally stay are doing OK. And the Russians are coming, the Russians are coming.
