March 23, 20197 yr Active Members https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabapentin This is the med my doctor prescribed for my foot pain - a burning sensation. This pain is different than the usual diabetic foot pain. I take three per day. I have 90 tablets. The doctor said it may take a week to work. When I went to the ER it was because of this foot pain. I told them several times but they ignored it. The ER doctor did give a prescription for the pneumonia he saw on my lungs Azthromycin , And he prescribed a substitute for Ibuprofen called Acetaminophen.

March 23, 20197 yr Active Members Lay person's opinion. Neurontin is prescribed for foot pain. In my experience with several sufferers, it has a limited chance to work. It is somewhat likely that you have idiopathic nephropathy. That means docs do not know what is causing it. I suggest more beer. Best regards, RA1
