July 24, 20197 yr Ever since this response to a post of mine: ...every time I visit the site, I get a “new notification” alert about this response. Even though I have viewed it over & over. Oz, if your site programmers are charging you any money at all, it is too much. ...And here in the middle of typing this post, that erroneous notice just popped up again! TWICE!! Argh.
July 24, 20197 yr I am not getting that. But, every browser and computer is different. Can you tell me what kind of computer? OS? ect. Programmers do not do this btw. This forum is managed by a company that has hundreds of thousands of forums and they update them all the time. Sometimes updates fuck things up, sometimes they fix them. But, with forum software, it is not a programmer messing with it. 95% of the time it is related to a particular browser or computer OS.
July 27, 20197 yr I have had 4 people test on multiple continents with the same device and can't replicate this. Is this still an issue? If so, can you log off the site completely (forum esp) and then log back in to see if this clears up the issue. For some reason, the logs in last longer on the phones than computers.
July 27, 20197 yr Author Issue has somehow resolved some hours ago. I did log entirely off whole shebang then on again several times, and problem at some point went away. Many thanks to whatever witchcraft your site maintainers applied!
