cheaper rooms

Featured Replies

with the fall in the £ exchange rate i need to find a cheaper place to stay , than either the poseidon , or the cafe royale, I have never stayed in any other hotel apart from these two so i would like some advice on other places to stay

If you are going to stay three weeks or more, then your best bet is to rent a condo. If not, then I would suggest either Howard's Guesthouse or Two Guys Guesthouse. Both are within easy walking distance to Sunee Plaza, are very good places to stay, and are far less expensive than most other popular gay accommodations.

Howard's: http://www.howards-pattaya.net

Two Guys: http://www.twoguysguesthouse.com

The rates run from 600 to 700 baht per night. I don't think you can do any better than that.

As GB says there are lots of good monthly deals available. 10K baht a month is doable.

As far as short stays, I was very happy with my stay at 2Guys, linked above.

I've stayed in those rooms many times, all the way back to when it was called the Somara.

Besides the a nice, clean room at a low price, the restaurant/bar/seating area is a good place to chat with like minded farangs.
