Iceland is set to appoint a former flight attendant and the world's first openly gay woman, Johanna Sigurdardottir, as interim prime minister following the failure of the country's conservative-led government under the weight of the country's collapsed banks and billions of dollars of debt accumulated in an aggressive overseas expansion.

I hope she does well, but like Obama has a difficult task. I understand that Iceland has riots in the streets due to the collapse of the banking system. What a mess!
