February 5, 200917 yr Stopping by Gentlemen Beer Bar tonight I had a very good talk with the owner. He has owned the bar for 17 years. Most will remember it as a go-go bar. A while a go he closed the go-go bar and went home to take care of his ill mother. When he returned, he opened it as a beer bar. Anyway, tonight was his last night. He said that business is just too slow to continue. It is too bad I feel as it must be one of the best decorated beer bar in Pattaya.

February 5, 200917 yr One of my Thai friends works at Gentleman and has said for the past couple of years that business has been slow. Even slower under the new venue. I shall miss GC because of fond memories and where I met my long term bf during my first trip to Pattaya. And that bathroom; cleaner than clean.

There was a sign on the premises advertising leasing possibilities - 5 floors - fuuly stocked bar, etc. I do not remember the requested terms for the lease but the sign also said the building and business are for sale for 20 million baht.
