Bros is said to be the first romantic comedy about 2 gay men from a major Hollywood studio.  It stars Billy Eichner & Luke Macfarlane & Eichner also co-wrote the film.

I'm way behind on going to the movies.  Just yesterday, I finally sat in the theater and watched Top Gun: Maverick.  Excellent movie!  Don't know that I'll get to see BROS.

Same-same here.  I saw Top Gun Maverick in Bangkok & really enjoyed it.  It's one of those movies that really should be seen on a big screen.

The Eichner character in Bros is totally repulsive. I could only sit through the movie because of Luke Macfarlane, who is an adorable hunk.

Amazon Prime recommended it.  I avoided paying for it before. I'm not attracted to Eichner's schtick.  But now BROS is included with my membership.  So I watched this morning.

The reason I tire easily of Eichner is also the main theme of the movie: gay men that are a loud, whiny construct that have no off switch. Big surprise. 

Still, that theme would have been more entertaining if Eichner remembered that less is more.  We still would have got it.

That said, I loved Luke McFarland, Bowen Yang and Deborah Messing, plus a bunch of other funny supporting characters and clever jokes.  Lot of good stuff. 

A well made movie that could have been better without Eichner playing himself.  

It's ok, but nothing more. There are better gay movies and far worse ones. There are some genuinely funny bits, some very cringey bits and a lot of Meh. And yes, by far the worst thing was the lead character.
