March 7, 200917 yr The red and yellow tent adjacent to Pattaya Park is the circus. Four of us went tonight ( 2 Thais & 2 Farang) and enjoyed it very much. It does not have animal acts, only acrobatics, a clown and flight gymnasts. I believe it is a Russian circus and I understand they will be here for 3 months as a trial for a yearlong run. The show lasted about 2 hours with a 20 minute intermission. The sad thing was there were not very many in the audience, maybe 100-150 people. The tent is air conditioned and the seats are comfortable. It was worth the 350 baht for a ticket. The show is at 1900 everyday. There are posters around town which are not accurate regarding the times.
March 8, 200917 yr Sounds like a simpler - and cheaper - version of the Cirque du Soleil's touring shows. If so, then it will be good entertainment.

July 24, 200917 yr Anyone know if the circus is still in town? The tent is still up, but I am not sure if they are having performances. You could either drive by if you have a car or call to Pattaya Park. I am sure they would know.
July 24, 200917 yr Did you see any well muscled young Russian gymnasts who looked as if they might do part time work in their time off?

Just called Pattaya Park and after transfering me around to someone who knows the word "circus" they said it's not open now. I asked when, and they said maybe high season, but they don't really know since it's not part of PP.
