March 10, 200917 yr The following appears in PATTAYA ONE: _____ Pattaya Music Festival 2009 Announcement. On Tuesday Morning at the VIP meeting room at Pattaya City Hall, Khun Wirawat, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya chaired a further preparation meeting for the upcoming Pattaya Music Festival which will take place between 20th and 22nd March. Representatives from the GMM-Grammy Record Company and the organizing committee were in attendance. It was confirmed that there will be three stages, one at the Bali Hai Port at the south end of Pattaya Beach, one on Pattaya Beach Road between Soi’s 4 and 5 and a third stage will be located further up the beach in front of the Central Pattaya intersection. Singers and groups from Thailand and around the region are set to appear at the event. March 13, 200917 yr I went to one of these about 3 or 4 years ago and NEVER AGAIN. Standing room only for about a thousand or so people and the music was very much geared to the kids (which I was about 5 decades ago ) However if you want to make a big hit with one of the Thai guys here that is the place to take him!

I agree, but I doubt I could get away with pretending I was actually enjoying it when in reality I would prefer to be racked and tortured. What I would do is give him some money and tell him to go with a couple of his friends and have a wonderful time. I think he would appreciate that much more anyhow than dragging me along with him.
March 14, 200917 yr Wow. I just saw the line up. Lots of my favorites playing! Nologo, Supersub, Potato, Abuse the Youth, plus several others. Does it cool down after sunset? Or will it be ungodly hot? Wish I could be there. It's a similar lineup to FAT Festival which I have attended the last couple of years but at least that is mainly indoors at Impact convention center in Bangkok.
March 14, 200917 yr Author Does it cool down after sunset? Or will it be ungodly hot? That's hard to say. Usually it does cool down a little bit this time of year, but not all that much. The comfort level is going to depend much more on humidity than temperature.
