After a break of almost 3 years, you can once again enjoy the special travel experience on board the A380, starting June 1 Boston to Munich. The A380 will then also be flying from New York (JFK) to Munich beginning on July 4, 2023, in time for U.S. Independence Day. Sit back and experience the calm and comfort of the largest aircraft in the Lufthansa fleet. Starting June 1, 2023, the A380 will be flying daily from Boston to Munich with flight number LH425. From July 4, 2023, the A380 with flight number LH411 will fly daily from New York (JFK) to Munich. By the end of October this year, the airline will fly the A380 from Munich to Bangkok (BKK)
May 5, 20233 yr Lufthansa is a bit slow off the blocks. Many other airlines have already put some A380s back into service, some last year. SIA, ANA, Korean, BA, Qantas and Asiana are some of the others. Qatar has had a daily A380 to BKK for many months. And I don't think Emirates ever had a day flying during the pandemic without some of its A380 fleet in operation. Funny how most of these airlines announced with great fanfare they were basically taking their A380s completely out of service. How times change!
