Ward off dementia

Featured Replies

To help ward off dementia, train your brain according to an article by Linda Shrieves. Some things she said to do are hobbies, volunteering and learn a new language. Full article at: http://www.att.net/s/editorial.dll?bfromin...amp;ac=8&ck

My brain would need training wheels and I'd still have a wreck.

I've been attending Thai language classes a couple of times the last month and, while I can read the stuff and understand it, my retention rate is rather poor. Guess I'm on the downward slope to oblivion (unless Chang bia will save me....).

I have been meanng to start learning Thai for 7 years. I don't know if this is a 'mind over matter' issue or just the start of the mind giving up. Now, did I volunteer for something . . .? :o

Some people worry that they are forgetful. If you lose your hairbrush; no problem. If you don't remember what to do with it when you find it; big problem.

Hairbrush? Hairbrush? Ah, I remember - for scrubbing my back
