June 25, 200917 yr I heard a rumor that the owner is converting this into nice apartments. I have not confirmed this but think the location is excellent and would be a great addition to Pattaya. I really like the old group that was at the hotel and if they decide to do apartments, I'm sure they would do it in a wonderful fashion.

I heard a rumour once, that the owners of the condo-complex opposite the Flamingo were trying to buy Flamingo. The price of THB 40,000,000 was too high + the potential new owner of Flamingo would like to own the total block (from Salt + Pepper Restauarant) up to the building opposite TukCom. As far as i know, the German owner of the Flamingo was't very keen on selling, but wasn't very keen on operating it as a hotel either. A typical example of investors-game.
