June 29, 200917 yr Have just read on another site, that in a few weeks all bars in the jomtiem area are to close at 12 midnight. Is this true or is it just another story with no truth to it
June 29, 200917 yr Its true. But im sure a solution will be found to get the old times back for the bars. Hotels are allowed to be open 24 hours dont forget.
June 30, 200917 yr Yes you will be able to take drinks to your room if you stay in the Hotel, with a boy, but any licenses premises Including the VENUE BAR will have to drink up starting 11.30pm and empty by 12 midnight with the lights out is the Law now for jomtien. but may be its closed by midnight now any way or can start the show an hour earlier. It may work out better as the customers can then go to Boyz town or Sunee Plaza for a drink till 2am or then go on to the "Sky boy Bar" next to Monty's old pool bar, that opens at 2am till the last customer leaves and some nice handsome boys on offer there as well and lots of action in the darkness. Jomtien Complex is a ghost town after 11 pm any way. No late night Problems at "SKY BOY BAR" I can assure you all the Bad boys keep well clear of this bar, I wont tell you why

This was the very thing mentioned in the meeting and the Vote to close at midnight by the City Fathers, the police have been instructed to make sure the lights are out and no noise and the members of the public who complained in the first place, will also monitoring various Bars to make sure the law is not flaunted, in the few licensed bars in the area. I'm sure the VENUE would not want to be like a prohibition Bar in the 1920s no they dont go on after 12 midnight normally, so as I said they will just start earlier. I'm sure some of the elderly customers that go there, will be pleased to be in bed by midnight. and the rest go to other gay areas, it could be almost as if the other gay areas have a contact in Pattayas Governors to get this closed early at this time.
