August 30, 200917 yr If corn oil is made out of corn, & peanut oil is made out of peanuts, & olive oil is made out of olives, etc. what is baby oil made out of?
August 30, 200917 yr Stork oil? Baby "oil" is a misnomer. It should be "baby lotion," same same "tanning oil," should be "tanning lotion." But what about "motor oil?" Oil FOR motors. Lotion FOR babies, tanning, etc.
August 30, 200917 yr Johnson & Johnson, who manufactures it, call it Baby Oil. How does a simple joke get turned into this crap?
August 30, 200917 yr Just squeeze the damn babies and you'll get some oil.... Yes, I'll acknowledge this retort is rather lame. Reminds me of the joke in the first place.
August 30, 200917 yr How does a simple joke get turned into this crap? But it wasn't a joke. It was a riddle . . .
August 31, 200917 yr But it wasn't a joke. It was a riddle . . . That's what I thought . . . a puzzle. The way I see it, Johnson & Johnson "Baby Oil" is a proper name, so they can call it anything they want. Just like McDonald's selling a hamburger called "The Big Mac." Technically, it's still a hamburger, but it's also a trademark. Some may think it's crap, just like this post . . .
September 1, 200917 yr Baby oil is primarily mineral oil, so why should it be called a lotion? I am confused.
