This Thai movie, Doiboy, which is on Netflix is worth a look for anyone interested in the subject matter, although it has it's flaws it seems a step up from most Thai movies.

A refugee builds a new identity as a sex worker in Thailand and gets caught up in a client's risky scheme that might lead to a better life.
