December 31, 200916 yr Am I the only one who thinks the signs that read PATTAYA COUNTDOWN 2010 are incorrect? Isn't this 2009 counting down to 2010?
December 31, 200916 yr Even though you "might" be technically correct, I think Countdown 2010 is less confusing and better. Perhaps it should be Pattaya Countdown 2553? Better ask Dick Clark for a ruling?
December 31, 200916 yr If the signs said PATTAYA COUNTDOWN TO 2010 it wouldn't be confusing at all and would be accurate, but I sometimes forget where I am.
January 2, 201016 yr Its probably one of the very few dates in the calendar that Thai guys arrive on time!
January 2, 201016 yr I've always assumed the phrase meant "Countdown to . . .", in which case 2010 would be accurate.
