French National Provides Boys for Prostitution in Pattaya

Pattaya 30th January 2010 [PDN] At 5.00pm a taskforce from the prevention of Trafficking of Woman and Children and Mr. Supakorn Noja (Child Protection and Development Center Director) joined forces in the arrest of a French National, Mr. Alexandre Andre Janver [60] at Silom Beer Bar, Moo 10, Soi Sunee Plaza, South Pattaya.

He was arrested on 7 charges of; 1. Providing children under 15 for prostitution, 2. Providing children under 15 to support other

First, obviously, selling kids for sex is pretty wrong.

Second, how unbelievably stupid do you have to be, to setup an operation like this in the middle of Sunnee Plaza? What do you think's going happen? The place is crawling with police from many different countries.

Round them all up, lock them up and throw away the key.

30,000 -40,000 baht per day !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who says theres no money in bars ???????????????

. Hiring children under 18 to work, 6, Hiring children to work that would probably endanger their lives, and mind, 7. Selling people into illegal prostitution.

What does this mean in English?

The place is crawling with police from many different countries

I was in Sunee Plaza recently, even though i do like older guys/men late 30s, and i genuinly think, and i know this may sound silly, but it looked to me that some of these overseas Policing agencies have set up small bars themselves or get info off foreign barowners.

Im sure I saw two guys who fitted that sort of description of Police ,they just had that "feel" its hard to explain, but they came into the bar separately and started using hand signals ,and then i noticed the same guy further down a dark soi talking fluently in Thai ,and yet when he was in the bar he didnt understand the waiter?,i know,i know you probaly all think i should be taking my anti depressants,i wont go on.

He started speaking to me and i spoke politely back,he was i must say very nice to talk to.

They seemed to be middleaged bigger type guys,I think aussie/new zealand? accents ,not happy looking guys, guys who you know sort of not to get on the wrong side,i got that feeling they are sort of mentally tough nothing worries them, something i would aspire to be ,i dont know i had just had that bad feeling around this foreign /farang guy , and i decided to leave, not that i was doing anything wrong,i just started feeling scared,he looked shocked i was leaving, kinda got the impression he was acting shocked and wanted me to stay?,im not sure, maybe I have been watching too many James Bond movies !

or just my paranoia coming back !Tell me if im paranoid?
