April 30, 201016 yr Outdoor Issan Music Festival the evening of April 30th on 3rd Road between Pattaya Nua and Pattaya Klang. 100 baht admission plus additional 20 baht for a chair. Beer and Thai whiskey is cheap. Starts around 8 PM or so and ends around 1Am or 2AM. Mostly Thais but a sprinkling of falangs.
April 30, 201016 yr Mostly Thais Yes, but think of which Thais! I spent this afternoon with a young gent from Udon Thani who plans to go to that concert. He said, "Every Issan boy want to go." That could very well make it worth doing, even if you don't care for that kind of music.
April 30, 201016 yr "Mor lam" shows are very popular with Issan boys, girl, and ladyboys. I get the impression that this one may have featured performers that the boys especially like. Bring a bunch of boys and you'll be their hero! Besides the music there's an elaborate stage show. Nice to see the boys having a good time dancing to music they like rather than doing the shuffle in some gogo bar. As GB says even if the music is not your cup of tea, the eye candy probably is. If you see a goofy falang with a few ladyboys, that's me. B)

If you have never been to a Issan Molem Show before you must go gather a few Guys together. bring them with you and chat to all the new Boys of all ages at the Show and take the best one home. Where could you also get 150 Boys and 150 Girls on the stage dancing, more you can have, and you will be so glad you went it's not to be missed. Over 5000 people going tonight from all over Thailand and Issan and so many want to meet a farang go to the front and dance your soon get your man. The eye Candy alone is worth the Visit; best time to go is about 10.30 pm to 11pm the performers are dressed in the most wonderful costumes. You never know who your going to meet there, may be even me, see you there guys?
May 1, 201016 yr Tough to estimate crowd size but I guess there were 500 ladyboys plus 500 femboys not to mention an additional 500 gayboys. Seemed as if the everyone had a gay ole time!
