June 4, 201016 yr I think wanting to be polite and saying something kinder when we actually mean something quite different isn't just a Thai or Asian or farang form of behaviour. Mea culpa...I do it quite often, too. (*see below) What I actually mean when I say - Phom chawb khun - If I can get you naked and in my bed, you won't be able to walk tomorrow morning Phom rak khun - If I can get you naked and in my bed, you probably won't be able to climb out again for the next three days (a week when I was ten years younger...*sigh*) See what I mean?
