Thai fire fighters attempt to control fire at Chinatown in Bangkok late Saturday. The nighttime blaze began in a row of shophouses behind a hotel, but was difficult to put out because they were accessible only by a narrow alley. No deaths were reported.

The Bangkok Post is reporting that the blaze was in the Yaowarat Rd. Area. Elderly residents were rescued by aerial devices.
